Linköping University is one of Sweden’s larger academic institutions, with around 27,000 students and 4,000 employees. LiU has a strongly interdisciplinary orientation and a focus on innovation in education and research. The Department of Thematic Studies – Technology and Social Change (Tema T) represents one of the largest science, technology and innovation studies departments in the Nordic countries. Tema T researchers work closely with a range of national and international public authorities, companies, and civil society organisations as well as a wide variety of international research partners. Tema T has been involved in a large number of national and international projects with grants from the European Union (Horizon 2020, ERA-Net, JPI), the Swedish Energy Agency, national scientific boards such as the Swedish Research Council, and grants from industry, such as the Swedish District Heating Association.
Project Manager | Harald Rohracher
Harald Rohracher is Professor of Technology and Social Change at Linköping University. His research focuses on the governance of socio-technical change towards greater sustainability, sustainable energy technologies, urban low-carbon transitions and the role of users and civil society in innovation processes. He is Associate Editor of Environmental Innovation and Societal Transitions.
