Confluences ASBL (formerly ‘CAPCOC ASBL’ in the process of being published in the Moniteur Belge) develops and implements different forms of co-creative processes, in particular in the area of innovative citizen involvement and multi-stakeholder collaboration. We mobilize professionals and citizens by reinforcing their capacities to actively participate in transition processes. The team creates discussion and learning spaces and develops methodologies, enabling different actors to work and innovate together, towards a more just and resilient society. In the past four years, Confluences emerged as a centre of excellence for the greater Brussels region and has been accompanying all projects of participatory action research in the context of Innoviris programme ‘Co-create’ on a vast range of topics covering urban resilience. The team also advises and guides projects and project participants to situate themselves in a broader, systemic approach towards urban resilience.
